Case Study - Extensions
We were commisioned to apply for a prior approval for a 6m rear extension and manage the project from start to completion. The new rear extension would be made to house a small studio. A small kitchen and bathroom then would also be required.

A fragile conservatory was already in place that needed to be demolished. Under permitted development, the client originally thought of building a 3m rear extension to replace the conservatory. We persuaded the client to try for a prior application which would allow permission for a 6m rear extension.
We proceeded to model the entire building and produce high quality 3D images and plans for prior approval for a 6m rear extension. We successfully gained permission for the 6m rear extension and completed works on the building regulation drawings a few days after.
We managed the construction of the project from start to finish which includes directing builders and making sure they are effective and on schedule, communicating with building control to ensure that the highest standards of construction are met and to ensure that the client is happy with the project.
to the right are a number of photos from the project which documents the process.

The building has to sit on something, so the foundation has been dug which will have concrete poured in after the building inspector has done her/his inspection

Concrete has been poured in and is ready to be built on top of.
